Both Llano and Burnet counties have lifted the burn ban for unincorporated areas.  Any burning inside the city limits of HSB requires a burn permit from the City.  These are obtained at Fire Station #1 on Hwy. 2147.  The Fire Department must inspect the burn site and approve the site (per all the established requirements) prior to any burn.     The following item(s) are currently being considered by the City Council.  A link is provided for further information. Junked Vehicle Ordinance Substandard Buildings Ordinance  Fireworks Ordinance Amendment to Include Class C (smaller) Displays Annexation of a 5.44 acre Horseshoe Bay Center formerly the Space Center Property  The City’s annexation process requires that the Council hold Public hearings pursuant to Section 43.06 of the Local Government Code.  These will be held on the 27th day of May, 2008, at 3:00 p.m., and the 27th, day of May, 2008, at 3:05 p.m., at City Hall in the Council Chamber of the City of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, to give all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of the property. Continuation of Public Hearing and Consideration Regarding a Zoning Ordinance Amendment to Rezone Lot Nos. 34001, 34019 and 34020 of Plat 34.1 (600 Hi Circle North/609 Fire Dance, 602 Hi Circle North and 606 Rio), Horseshoe Bay, Llano County, Texas, in Zone 4 from R-1 Single Family Residential to R-6 Multiple Family Residential.  Your comments are encouraged and can be sent to city@horseshoe-bay-tx.gov or mailed to the City Secretary, City of Horseshoe Bay, PO Box 7765, Horseshoe Bay, Texas 78657-7765. _____________________________________________________________ Next Council Meeting:  May 27, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at City Hall.
