Council Changes Drought Plan Status to Stage 1 Voluntary Conservation Measures
The City Council took action on December 15, 2009 to change the Drought Contingency Plan status from Stage 3, mandatory outdoor watering restrictions, to Stage 1, voluntary conservation measures. Even though local weather conditions and lake levels have improved, drought conditions are still significant. Lower than normal lake levels still require that we continue to consider the importance of conservation measures.
Voluntary Irrigation Schedule
The City is asking for your voluntary cooperation in our efforts to reduce water demand by 10%. Customers are encouraged not to water their lawns and landscapes between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and use the following schedule:
Even Addresses - Thursday and Sunday Odd Addresses - Wednesday and Saturday
Stage 1 Add'l Information LCRA Domestic Use Contract Program
