Press Release-Emergency Services
On July 1, 2010 the police, fire, and EMS responders for the City of Horseshoe Bay will be converting our dispatch operations from the Llano County Sheriff’s Department to the Marble Falls Police Department to more effectively serve our community. All residential and commercial police and fire alarms need to have the automatic call function number changed to call 830-598-2633. Otherwise your alarm will continue to forward to the Llano County Sheriff’s Department and our emergency response will be delayed.
Please notify your respective alarm companies of this change so they can re-program your system to call the correct dispatch center and expedite our response to your situation. This notification is of the utmost urgency to avoid an unnecessary delay should you have a police, fire, or EMS emergency.
The next Regular Council Meeting is Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The agenda will be available here Friday, August 20th.
