HORSESHOE BAY CELEBRATES THE 4th OF JULY !!
The City of Horseshoe Bay and the Horseshoe Bay Resort will once again be sponsoring a fireworks display Saturday, July 4th beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m. As in previous years they will set up near the Lighthouse and shoot them over the lake.
Horseshoe Bay Streets
Attached is “Major Points of Street Plan - June 23, 2009” by Bob Lambert, Mayor. This paper and the City Council Workshop that was held on June 16, 2009 are the beginning of developing a plan to upgrade some of the streets that the City acquired on April 21, 2009 from the Horseshoe Bay Property Owners’ Association.
As discussed in the paper, over the summer various matters will be studied with the intent of discussing the status at a City Council Workshop beginning at 9:00 on August 25.
You are encouraged to provide verbal or written comments to the City Council. You may send written comments to mayor@horseshoe-bay-tx.gov and they will be given to all members of the City Council.
The agenda for the August 25, 2009 workshop will be posted here prior to the meeting.

The Texas Colorado River Floodplain Coalition (TCRFC) is sponsoring the development of a multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan Update that will address all natural hazards.
The Draft Plan is now available here for comment, and the public is invited and encouraged to provide feedback.
As part of the 2010 Census, Census employees will be going door to door to update address lists in Horseshoe Bay, and Nationwide. For more information go to:
