Reagan Lambert is beginning his 28th year as the Director of the Austin/Central Texas/Hill Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He was hired by Hall of Fame Coach Tom Landry in 1990 as the first Director of the Austin/Central Texas/Hill Country area which covers 14 counties and 220+ middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities.
He and his staff currently work on 130+ campuses. They are also responsible for numerous coaches’ bible studies as well as pre-game chapels for about 20 high school athletic teams.
Reagan manages a staff of 12 employees and is responsible for all aspects of the Austin/Central Texas/Hill Country budget of $650,000.
Reagan was raised in the Austin area, attended McCallum High School and Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos where he met his wife Debbie (married 39 years). He has two children; daughter Allison, a former college volleyball player and graduate of University of North Carolina-Ashville. She coaches volleyball with Austin Performance Volleyball Club, and son Zach, a former college football player and graduate of Hardin Simmons University and Dallas Theological Seminary. Zach is married to Amy and they reside Austin where she is a speech pathologist and he is the Pastor of Restore Austin Church. They have a son Judah.
Reagan played semi-pro baseball during and after college. He has coached baseball, been the host of a national radio talk show (Sharing the Victory) and was the team Chaplain for the University of Texas football team from 1992 thru 2000.
Before being hired as the FCA Director, Reagan spent 13 years in the insurance business.
Reagan and his wife Debbie have owned property in Horseshoe Bay since July of 2011 and became full- time residents in December of 2011.
They are members of the Church at Horseshoe Bay.
