The Horseshoe Bay Fire Department is currently performing the annual Fire Hydrant Testing and Maintenance Program. This process serves several purposes:  The fire department obtains and records the water flows and pressures for fire insurance ratings, which will identify problems such as closed water valves or broken hydrants;  and hydrants will be greased and cleaned to assure they function properly, then painted to enhance their appearance and visibility.

In addition, the department will be working with property owners to remove obstructions such as plants, trees or fences to ensure that hydrants can be easily seen and accessed to protect life and property in Horseshoe Bay.

 

As Budget Officer of the City, the Mayor has presented this proposed budget for official recording and posting.  Citizens are invited to attend the scheduled meetings and provide verbal comments or submit written comments via email to city@horseshoe-bay-tx.gov or by mail to Bob Lambert, City of Horseshoe Bay, PO Box 7765, Horseshoe Bay, TX 78657-7765
