It is hard to believe that a City Council election is right around the corner on November 7, 2006. We will fill three places on the Council which represent those that drew one year terms. In the future all Council persons will serve two year terms. The three incumbents have not yet announced if they plan to run for re-election. The next mayoral election will be in 2007. Horseshoe Bay residents are very fortunate to have an unlimited pool of talented individuals available who can serve as elected officials. All interested parties are encouraged to become involved in the process.
Respectfully submitted,
Buddy Schrader
