Nonworking Yard Lights

City Code Section 3.07.004(2) and (7)

Sec. 307.004(2) Each light and light sensitive switch for same shall be kept in good working order and maintained by the owner. All glass should be kept in good condition.

Sec. 3.07.004(7) Nonworking yard lights shall be reported to the city development services department who will notify the homeowner, and if not corrected within 10 days, the city will repair the fixture or replace the light bulb(s) and charge the homeowner $50.00, plus the cost of any materials for this service.

Section R321-Site Address

R321.1 Premises identification. Approved numbers or addresses shall be provided for all new buildings in such a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road fronting the property.

International Fire Code 2006

Section 505-Premises Identification

505.1 Address numbers. New and existing buildings shall have approved address numbers, building numbers or approved building identification placed in a position that is plainly legible and visible from the street or road fronting the property. These numbers shall contrast with their background. Address numbers shall be Arabic numerals or alphabet letters. Numbers shall be a minimum of 4 inches (102mm) high with a minimum stroke width of 0.5 inch (12.7mm).
