DAVID M. MARTIN PARK

The park, next to the City of Horseshoe Bay's City Hall, was dedicated on June 4, 1993 in memory of the first president of the Lake LBJ Municipal Utility District Board of Directors, (1974-1982). It is available for the benefit of the owners or renters of property within the City of Horseshoe Bay, along with their guests and other visitors.

Reservations may be arranged by applying at the administrative office during normal business hours, or by e-mailing: Park Reservations.

When reserved, a RESERVED sign is put in place which will allow parties to inform walk-ins that the park is currently in use. Please cancel any reservation that will not be used.

While there is no fee for the use of the park/pavilion, certain guidelines on the use of the park are expected:

  • Hours are daylight to dark with a curfew of 10:00 PM. Overnight use of the park is not permitted.
  • No fireworks are allowed.
  • Good manners, common sense and respect for the facility and the park environment must be the primary concern of everyone.
  • Use of the park and pavilion does not include or imply any liability or responsibility by the City and each person should practice good personal safety.
  • Use is on a first come, first serve basis unless a specific advance reservation has been made and granted as shown on the Reservation Calendar posted on the bulletin board. For a reservation, please contact the City business office during regular business hours at 830-598-8741.
  • Fires must be contained in the provided grills or similar containers. Please do not burn trash in grills, and extinguish fires upon leaving.
  • Please carry out everything that was carried in, including trash.
