Jerry Lovelady

Jerry comes to the City of Horseshoe Bay from Porter, Texas where he served as General Manager for the Porter, Texas Special Utility District (SUD) for 8 years.  Before that assignment, Jerry held management positions in numerous Utility Departments across Texas to as far away as California.

Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Management from Amber University and a Master of Public Administration Degree from Texas State University.  He holds the highest levels of Texas Water and Wastewater certifications and is active in the American Water Works Association (recently receiving Life Membership after 30 years of Association involvement), the Texas Water Utilities Association and the Water Environment Federation.   

Jerry has been married to wife Kay for 35 years.  They have three grown children:  Kiara (32), Jerry Jr. (23), and Kristina (21).
