REPLATTING, VACATING PLAT AND AMENDING PLAT OVERVIEW An Applicant is encouraged to meet with the Development Services staff to discuss your replat, vacating plat or amending plat.  A completed Application Form accompanied by the Submittal Checklist, the filing fee of $100.00, plus a tax certificate showing all taxes paid in full, and all required documentation must be submitted to Development Services for preliminary replat consideration by the City Council. The preliminary replat must be prepared by a registered surveyor or professional engineer. No preliminary replat or final replat submittal will be accepted by the City Council unless it conforms to the City’s standards, and all required documents are provided. Development Services will review the preliminary replat and make a recommendation to the City Council which will consider the preliminary replat at the next regular City Council meeting. If the preliminary replat is denied, you will receive written comments of the reasons for the denial and the preliminary replat will not be placed on another City Council agenda until all issues have been addressed to meet City requirements. Once all requirements have been met, the preliminary replat will again be placed on the City Council’s agenda for consideration and action.  A preliminary replat that has received approval from the City Council will be placed on the next City Council agenda for final replat approval, as long as all Council approved requirements have been met. Upon final approval, Development Services will contact the Applicant to notify them and will obtain the Mayor’s, City Secretary’s and Development Services Manager’s signatures.
