What was on the Ballot?
Proposition A, shown below as it will appear on the ballot, will authorize the City of Horseshoe Bay to issue bonds for a new City Center.
“The issuance of $8,000,000 general obligation bonds for designing, constructing, acquiring, and equipping a new city hall and acquiring land, easements and rights-of-way in connection therewith and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.”

Last day to apply for a Ballot by Mail: Friday, October 28, 2022 (the County must RECEIVE the application by this date; not postmarked). Applications can be found on your County’s website (see bottom of this page for contact info). Send your application to your County Elections Administrator (not the City):

For Burnet County residents (There are multiple voting locations listed on Burnet County’s website, but the following location is the closest one to Horseshoe Bay):

Exceptions: October 27th and November 3rd voting hours are 7:00am – 7:00pm
October 29th voting hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm (Saturday)
