[ARCHIVED] What's on the Ballot? Early voting begins Monday!

There will be two propositions on the ballot this November for the City of Horseshoe Bay:

Proposition A) The City is proposing an increase of 0.25% in the sales tax rate. This will contribute to the City’s General Fund without increasing the property tax rate and will make our rate equal to most other cities. The ballot will show a 1.25% tax rate, but that is the total the rate will be after the election. The proposed increase is for only ¼ of a penny.

Proposition B) The reauthorization of the current 0.25% street maintenance tax that voters have approved every 4 years since 2009. The city is required to ask voters to reauthorize this ¼ cent tax every four years.

Early voting begins on October 18th and ends on October 29th, with Election Day on November 2nd. See main polling locations below:
