New Stage 2 Watering Restrictions
Beginning May 1, 2024, the LCRA has mandated all firm water customers to initiate advancement to Stage 2 Drought levels as required in our water purchase contract. This will limit automated irrigation systems to once per week and only from midnight (12 a.m.) to 10 a.m. on your specific irrigation day. Hand watering with a water hose using a hand-held sprayer, with positive shut off, or a fillable watering bucket is allowed anytime. Drip irrigation is no longer exempt at this stage.
