Building Inspections
Important Announcement!
- If your permit was issued prior to July 1, 2025, you must use the links provided below to complete scheduling of any inspections.
- If your permit is issued after July 1, 2025, please click on this link to the iWorQ portal to schedule any inspections.

To schedule a Building Code Inspection (Plan Review requirement), select from the links below to complete the request.
- Building Code Inspections (ATS) Select FMEP (Grouped Inspection) from the Inspection Type drop down list to create one inspection request. If separate inspections are required for Framing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing, select them individually.
- Grinder Line and Tank (Plumbing)
- Grinder Final (Electrical)
- Irrigation Inspections
- Temporary Water Riser
- For other Inspections (Early Morning Pour, Meter Unlock for Backflow Testing, or general questions), send requests to inspections@horseshoe-bay-tx.gov.
Note: New Residential, Accessory Structures and Additions that increase the building footprint, an approved survey is required before scheduling a plumbing rough. Grinder (Plumbing) Line and Tank must pass before a final can be requested.
Once all required inspections have passed, complete the Certificate of Occupancy Checklist and submit to inspections@horseshoe-bay-tx.gov. Note: All third-party inspections/documents must be included with the checklist, if not already submitted.

Building Inspection requests received prior to 3:30 p.m., will be available for next day inspection.
