2. Irrigation System Inspection Checklist Incomplete forms will be returned. Please ensure all fields are completed prior to submission.
4. Finishing Documents

   1. A paper copy of the final as-built plan, controller manual booklet and seasonal schedule are with the controller or accessible at the property. The irrigator has affixed a sticker on the box with their name, license number, telephone number and warranty date information.
6. Backflow Prevention

   1. A tested; correctly installed backflow preventer is present. If the unit is a double check in a ground box, it must have a wye-strainer on the inlet side. Threaded caps are on all test ports and the test ports are threaded to use the screw-on type caps.
8. Manual Cutoff

   1. A manual cutoff installed before the backflow preventer.
10. Rain Sensors

    1. A rain or soil moisture sensor is present, or the system uses a smart controller connected to a weather network. The rain sensor probe has ample 360-degree exposure to rainfall.
12. Zoned Irrigation

    1. The system layout complies with zoned irrigation principles.
14. Setbacks

    1. Sprinkler heads have a four-inch setback from hardscape, foundations, walls and fences.
16. Consumption Rates

    1. Zone flows on the final as-built left for the customer match flows indicated on the water meter.
18. Drip Irrigation

    1. All planting beds are in drip irrigation (Not required for lake pump systems).
20. Natural Areas

    1. There is no irrigation on natural, non-landscaped areas.
22. Property Lines

    1. Irrigation sprays do not leave the property or go into non-landscaped areas.
24. Coverage

    1. Head-to-head contact is accomplished per State and City regulations, including contact is across, as well as side-to-side on turf areas greater than 10 feet wide.
26. Layout

    1. As-built plan matches the actual layout, including correct zone flows in gallons per minutes as measured at the meter. Changes on the plan are clearly marked.
28. Spray Trajectory

    1. Heads are pointed in the correct directions for their location without significant overspray.
30. Repairs

    1. No leaks or major repair issues exist at the time of the inspection.

32. I, The Licensed Irrigator, certify that my project meets these requirements and is ready for inspection. I understand there will be a $50 deduction from my $250 deposit for each re-inspection.
