Horseshoe Bay residents and business operators wanting to learn more about running their automatic sprinkler systems efficiently will have an opportunity during an irrigation school at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 9 at Horseshoe Bay City Hall, #1 Community Drive.
The school, hosted by the City and the Lower Colorado River Authority, will feature Brett Briant, conservation coordinator for the LCRA, and Bill Teeter, the City’s water conservation inspector.
The speakers will cover irrigation scheduling, soil management, water conservation, irrigation rules, LCRA efficiency rebates, irrigation repair and efficient irrigation practices.
Presentations will take about 1 hour followed by up to 30 minutes of question and answer or one-on-one visits with Brett and Bill.
The event is open to any resident living in Horseshoe Bay or the LCRA service area, including Kingsland, Cottonwood Shores and Marble Falls.
