[ARCHIVED] Oak tree damage

Due to the recent winter storm many oak trees in the city were damaged. The city would like to remind residents to please paint the oak tree wounds immediately to prevent the spread of Oak Wilt. The city’s recycle center is open 7 days a week for you to take broken branches. Please refer to this link for hours.  If you are unable to haul your own limbs or need assistance painting your trees wounds, please call the city in the next 7 days for assistance at 830 598 8741 ext. 234.
