The City continues to produce water at a limited rate. Progress has been made and tanks began to fill, but an increase in demand in the early hours of Monday morning reversed this progress.
Unfortunately, areas in the high elevations of West and Summit Rock did not see pressures return to normal as expected overnight.
City staff work through the night to increase the water system supply, but with limited success. This morning staff will again work to increase the water intake capacity using all available resources, including electrical and pump specialists to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
As of 7:30 am, the system is making slow progress and as today is not an irrigation day for the City, the system will make steady progress. Please be conservative with your water use as we work out this issue today. Please know we are working day and night to resolve this problem and we will not stop until it is resolved. We will continue to provide updates until we return to a normal production state.
Please note the water is safe for residents to consume.
