YOU’RE INVITED
What: Open House at Quail Point sponsored by the Long Range Planning Committee to guide the future of Horseshoe Bay
When: May 3rd from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Or:
May 11th from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M.
Why: To give your opinion on the issues the committee has identified that effect the future of Horseshoe Bay and then rank the most important issues. There will be no formal presentation.
These open houses are sponsored by the Long Range Planning Committee to insure every resident has an opportunity to learn the issues the committee has identified for the future of Horseshoe Bay.
These issues will be presented in five different categories Land Use Recommendations, Community Services, Economic Development, Urban Infrastructure and Technology and Environmental recommendations.
These five general categories will each have a table for attendees to visit to critique each issue. On arrival they will receive five “Sticky Dots” to be placed on their top ranked issue in each of the five general categories.
Many of the results of the committee’s recent survey will also be available. This survey conducted both on-line and locally available paper ballots generated a total of 1,326 responses from the community. A response of this size should generate a reliable statistical base.
The open house will be “come and go”, informal and refreshments will be served. All residents are encouraged to attend to help plan the future of our community.
Please put this on your calendar today.
