The next Citizens’ Academy will start this spring on February 2nd and run for nine class sessions each Thursday afternoon over 9 weeks. Each Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00PM a different subject matter of local government will be covered by a department head. For example, classes will cover a range of topics from: Fire, Police, Utilities, Finance, Code Enforcement, and Municipal Court. The last session is a roundtable discussion and graduation ceremony.
